Second physical meeting of the SustainEd Project in Barcelona, Spain

We’re excited to share highlights from the second transnational project meeting, which took place in beautiful Barcelona, Spain, on October 29th and 30th.

Hosted in the Humanities Library at the COMTEC Space by the Autonomous University of Barcelona on the Bellaterra Campus, the SustainEd team gathered to advance our mission of transforming sustainability education in Higher Education through innovative learning solutions like living labs and WebQuests.

Here’s a quick look at what we covered:

  1. Development of SustainEdX (WP2)
A toolkit designed to enhance sustainable learning experiences for university students. Discussed the finalisation of the translations, updated about the technical progress, and we plan the pilot testing in each partner country.
  2. Resources for Educators: Frameworks for the Sustainable Teaching Manual and Guide, along with planning for an upcoming lecturer training in Barcelona.
  3. Campus Living Labs Tour: A visit to UAB’s living labs allowed us to dive into hands-on sustainability practices right on campus!
  4. Outreach and Dissemination Planning (WP4): Collaborative sessions focused on maximizing SustainEd’s reach and impact in the months ahead. Project management and quality assurance sessions, covering key performance indicators and evaluation strategies.
